Adult Ministry

Adult Bible Fellowships

At Calvary, we encourage every adult to build Christ-centered community with others through Adult Bible Fellowships, also called ABFs. These groups are a key venue to get to know others and to be known as well. They celebrate together, and they grieve together. Most importantly, they encourage each other in their life with Jesus through transformational Bible study. These groups meet weekly each Sunday morning at 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am at different locations around campus, including the Slayton Building, the Family Life Center, the Multi-Purpose Room, and the Parlor.

Ephesians 4:12-13 reads, “… to  equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

The Equipping Center is Calvary’s Wednesday Night experience for adults.   With Ephesians 4:12-13 as our guide, we offer multiple EQUIP Courses to help people develop and cultivate a Biblical worldview.  Each course has the goal to “prepare God’s people for works of service.”

Calvary is a place where passionate followers of Jesus Christ are being discipled to love God, love others, and live His mission.  Calvary’s Women in Touch ministry (WIT) serves the women of Calvary by encouraging them to live as a community of Christ followers and to invest themselves in Bible study, in building relationships with one another, and in serving others.
